I think we all know of inflationary pressures, but this one left me scratching my head after seeing it as a new release today:
I know that I bought this kit around 2010 for around roughly $45, and I built it 5 years ago and took a bronze medal with it at a show. It's a fine kit, but now Dragon wants $97 for it? I am curious what the improvements are to justify double the cost. Better be a metal barrel and tracks with brass pins.

Re: Pushing The Envelope!
No thanks... Almost $100 MSRP for a basic average size 1/35 AFV? I don't think so. Even if it came with Fruils, full Aber PE, and a metal barrel. Takom is doing superb kits for much less.

Agreed, I have had decent success with them and Meng. Dragon is the last decade's player in 1/35 IMHO, especially if they are going to charge premium prices like that.
Their 1/72 kits are still the cat's meow to me though.

Hmmm... I'd think at that scale they are more 'the bees knees'

Yeah,I love Dragon kits but that's just crazy.
But if it came with $50 Fruils and $12 Barrel then yes
