I used to think that way... where I am now has a very reasonable HOA... lots of perks for the fees,(gyms, pools, parks, lakes with fish & boats, etc.) and it keeps the difficult neighbors in line. Everybody who moves in signs the same paperwork agreeing to abide by the rules.

Ya, we get a lot for our HOA. And it's cheap.
But I have had to deal with some HOA Nazis in the past. Mostly annoying stupid people with control issues that volunteer.

The two amoebas (Tony and Mark) were out in his driveway yesterday evening. This morning, while out with the dogs, I went to one on the pins and these idiots had spay painted a line between all the stakes.
I am at a loss on how to stop this.

Wow.... they just won't give up will they? I'm at a loss but perhaps the courts may have to step in against these fools.

Get the surveyors back and have them confront them stating that they did not spray paint lines between the stakes. I would have took pointers as evidence prior to their spray paint stunt.
Sounds like they're trying to defy the surveyors and the law by tampering with the legal property lines belonging to you.

Not gonna take picture just yet. The surveyor placed a, stake about every 25 feet down the property line.
