1/48 Hasegawa A-4M Skyhawk

Post by Medicman71 »

After being badgered by the host, I caved in and joined the AMSHOW Podcast's A-4 Skyhawk GB. Since I already had the Hasegawa kit, it wasn't too hard to get me to join. I also have the Caracal Decal set for the A-4M. I'll probably do a test jet.

Very nice - I do like the later mark Skyhawks!

Looking forward to seeing what you do with it Mike.

Nice subject. Any Skyhawk build is good by me!

I like the Hasegawa scooters. Built a couple of them.
Thanks,

That one pic is just the fuselage taped together and this fits together like a Tamiya kit, so far anyway.

Hmmm…. Naval Air Test Center. :hmm: By any chance is it Pax River NAS markings? Pax River is short for Patuxent River out in Southern Maryland. My uncle was employed on that base after serving in the Navy. I’m interested in that set if you’re willing to part with it.

Not sure which one I'm going to do yet. Too many cool options.

After careful consideration and a tie breaking vote by SWMBO, this will be the scheme I'm doing. This is one that I haven't seen done a billion times.

You’re doing the black & white quartered scheme? Cool! There was a F-18 later done in that scheme, “D’ Skunk” it was called…
