Its been there for a long time. I'm sure it'll still be there a while longer when I return to buy it...

A row over, I saw these militaria stuff for sale. First time I've seen a Nazi soldier helmet ($650) and other WW2 German metals (Iron Cross, Luftwaffe metals, etc...) there's even a Russian Front Ribbon metal too. I'm thinking of buying a militaria WW2 metal - the Luftwaffe metal or Russian Front Ribbon metal if the price is negotiable. Don't recall.how much they're asking for them...

Man I do miss those box scale Revell ships. They covered such a transition period of US Navy subjects from the WWII to guided missile era. Between those and the few that Monogram made there was quite a selection to be had. Airfix & Heller covered the Brit & French ships of the same era…

The militaria is cool too. I like the Tank Destroyer Command patches in the middle. I wonder if that is collar brass for the branch in the frame with the patches.

Ya that box art brought back memories. I'm certain I saw that kit when I was a kid.

I know! Those old Revell ships are high on my list. Never did USS Boston but it's a start for a stash.
I'm still looking for:

Carriers:

Independence
Enterprise
Nimitz
Lexington
Hornet
Yorktown
Wasp
Oriskany
Bon Homme Richard
Ticonderoga
Intrepid
Essex
Franklin
Forestall
Saratoga
Constellation
Coral Sea

Battleships/Cruisers

Pennsylvania
Wisconsin
Massachusetts
Pittsburgh
Bismarck
Tirpitz

That's just a small sampling of what I remember. There are so many others from my youth years. Those were the glory days of model ships before Tamiya.

I like the tank destroyer badge display in the middle. Would go nicely with my M18 last year.
