At long last, some 20 years after I first started this kit, it is now finally finished. My second completion of this year! This is the Testors boxing of the 70's vintage Italeri molds. I replaced the kit single piece vinyl tracks with some Dragon indy link tracks, added a CMK resin transmission, plus some other scratch work on the interior to fill up the open spaces in there. The crew figures are Dragon, Decals from Star Decals "Panzers in Italy" sheet and I painted this with Floquil and Vallejo colors. Stowage came from various items in my spares bins.
Thanks for looking! Comments and critiques are welcome.

Goodern’!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
Re: 1/35 Marder III H
Turned out great. The figures add so much to armor models. So they had zero protection from the elements? Rain/snow/sun?
Thanks,
John

Not much of an armour builder but that looks great!

Thanks guys!
John, there was a tarp that could be fitted over some bows to give some weather protection for the crew, but nothing more than that. And then that cuts down on the ability to see out, so it would not be used in the combat areas.

And they were designed to combat Russian tanks on the eastern front .

Yup, but they also fought in Tunisia, Italy, and Northwestern Europe.

That's a cool build Carlos and well worth the wait if you ask me - the upgrades and additions really add to it. I especially love the tin bucket over the exhaust!

Thank you Stuart! Doesn’t every German WWII vehicle carry a tin bucket? Along with a pointing crew member?
