Ooooookkkkaaaayyyyyyy..... Resin engines removed from old kit, old kit binned (too many things I wasn't happy with including a broken windscreen trying to get to the IP), new kit ordered and arrived...

Here we go again - hopefully I'll be a lot happier with the build this time around.

Given our earlier conversation - what would you guys say IS the correct colour for the cockpit?

Oopsie….man, sorry to hear that. Sometimes you just gotta do it, huh?
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Been there, done that. Sometimes the hammer must come down on a PITA kit. Are you getting a different brand kit?

lol! Nah, the Zvezda kit's twice the price of this one, and at least I have a better idea of where this kit's issues are the second time around.

I would like a Zvezda Herc though!

Yes indeedy, it's no big deal. There was so much I wasn't happy with on the previous build that it's easier to start again.

Bummer. I recently binned my T-6G Texan so I know where you're coming from :headbang: :scream: :ggun:

Yeah I feel ya! I've thrown away a few kits recently because the kit sucked or I screwed it up.

I've been fortunate. IN all the time I've been building models, I've never trashed a kit.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with this one Stuart. As for the interior color, either a Dark Ghost or Dark Gull grey would work, unless the RAF repainted the interiors when they got them.

USAF aircraft use Dark Gull Gray on interiors. At least in most cases since the late 50's... Never rode in one that was Ghost Gray...

Thanks Gents! When I get to painting the cockpit that'll be really useful!
