1/1000 Dreadnought/Federation class starship

Post by Ceaser_Sa1ad »

Hi all,
I've been working on this on and off. I have more work than I have pictures, so I'll have to get some updated images tonight. This is where I last took pictures though.
Using 1/1000 Uss Enterprise kit with a 1/2500 Ambassador class deflector dish (not shown in images)

That is quite the project. Neat!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Thanks guys!
Here are more updated photos, from tonight. As you can see a lot of my filling and shaping has cracked already, and there's a LOT of work to do. This is a slow burn. You can see the Ambassador class styling coming out a lot more, which was my goal to begin with.

That's a nice little conversion which you're making good progress on.

Yes it comes in black.

I really wanted to just unify everything on the project, so I painted it all black. Ill keep working on seams and filling, but it all being in black helps my vision of progress.
