Yeah. I looked in their instruction guide for more clarification. I suspected that notion after looking at real images of the IL-2s

Anyhow... last night a glued the wing halves and installed the fiddly bits. Bombs painted, rockets painted but I have to repaint them They're not suppose to be silver as the instruction guide says. :headbang: I'll repaint them black with white tips instead. :bag:

A bit of progress made these last couple nights but no pics yet.

What’s done thus far:

Bombs/rockets painted
Wing halves done, rocket and bomb rails stalled
Tail rudder installed
Cockpit painted, fuselage all buttoned up
Wings to fuselage
Canopy masked and glued to fuselage
Landing struts, wheel wells & inner doors painted RLM 2
Undersides and outer side doors painted light blue
Propeller assembled and painted
Tires painted

Next… camo scheme

Patient my boy....

Posted my progress post around midnight. This old body was ready for bed.

Here ya go. One must never rush a man until he has his first cup of coffee in the morning :ballbat:

I'm aware of the gap from wings to fuselage. Gonna tackle that later tonight.

Oh so true. I was up at 6:30, showered, went to BK and got a coffee and a biscuit, then to the barber shop. Home by 8"30.

And, the bild is progressing nicely.

For some reason, I don't have any of these machines.
