Out Of Order

Post by Medicman71 »

Well I'm outta order for a week and a half now. A sneak attack from an Xacto knife got me right in the palm at the base of my thumb. Three stitches in the ER. If you wanna see the open cut, I'll post it.

Ouch!!!! How did that happen?
I sliced my thumb from nail to cuticle when I was a kid trying to split a small dowel in half building a stick and paper model.
Thanks,
John

I was trying to pry a piece of resin that I had glued in the wrong spot on the Prowler. It popped off and the knife went right into my hand.

That’s an “owwie” right there. I’ve had two near misses in the last few days.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I had a near miss earlier in the day. Should have taken that as a sign.

What hurt the most was when the doc numbed it. Worst pain I've ever had.

Unfortunately no. But I can take the stitches out myself.

Ouch! Yeah, that happens to me a lot too whenever I work with resin. That is why I steer clear of resin kits every chance I get.

Take care of that man!
