Thanks guys! Like I said, this is the first time I've gotten stitches. Not fun at all. But at least they come out tomorrow.

I got my first stiches, three of them on my right thumb, the day before JFK's funeral. I was in fifth grade and was trying to cut through an Elmer's Glue bottle with a butcher knife. I just had to get at that last lil' bit! Still have the scar now at 71, and the scar still a bit numb.

Well the stitches came out today. The middle stitch hurt like hell when I took it out. Oh I removed my own stitches cause the doc gave me the removal kit and I've done it before. May have been a little to early but I'm sure it'll heal fine. Got steri strips and a large band aid over it now. The good news is that I van get back to the bench now!!!

Looking to heal just fine… One thing I hate about stitches is they itch like hell until you get them out.

My big car accident 24 I think, to close up my nose and eyebrow
16 in the middle of my back
And I probably should have had a few on my right thumb when the deli wheel sliced it open
