Sure is John, probably one of their first recessed panel line jobs. Excellent for it's day, but 40 years later if you put it next to the Tamiya 1/72 version you scratch your head and say 'why am I doing this?' :hmm: Well, I guess I can answer why I'm doing this. I did not want to waste time with interior details and just wanted a nice basic shape to paint and decal.

Since this will be an in flight model, I had to paint the pilot. Fortunately the molded man in the box is quite well done for 1/72 -- I just wish he did not look like he belonged in a spitfire or a hurricane :hmm: Oh well, many US air crew used British flight gear I suppose...

Found out something new today as well.. If you strain your flat coat, you might strain out the flat particles, and end up with a gloss coat :bag:
