So what paints are you gonna use? Model Master was the only one that I know of that had the actual Blue Angels colors.

Looks great!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

This works for me. I use to use Model Master Blue Angel Blue but that company is defunct.

I'll have to see if Tamiya has those in their lacquer line.

Blue Angels Blue is FS15050. Any of these paints will do:

Humbrol 190 Blue Angels Blue
Humbrol 15 Midnight Blue

Tamiya X-3 Royal Blue

Gunze/Mr. Color 5 Gloss Blue
Gunze/Mr. Color 328 Blue

Check your local Hobby Lobby for Testors rattlecan #1972 Blue Angels Blue
Hobby Lobby carries Testors line spray cans and square bottles (#1511 or #1772)

MCW Finishes also has them. Great paint!

I used the Humbrol Midnight Blue with Model Master Blue Angels Yellow on my Hornet build last year
