I have been very busy lately and building some very simple Revel mini kits to get back into the groove.
I recently bought a Hellcat and two Tempests for two euros. One of the Tempests is missing a canopy so I am going to heat smash two new ones. I will use the canopy of the complete kits as a mould.
Here are some progress pics of the builds. I added seats and thinned the thick wings. For the Tempests I also added a circle on the chin intake.

Wow…tiny. I like what you are doing here.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Yea, reading glasses, I am still getting used to mine
A little update. I have decals for only one Tempest (can’t complain for 1 euro). So one Tempest is going to be in RAF colours. And the other one in captured German markings. The so called Zirkus Rosarius used several captured allied planes for training luftwaffe pilots. Often they a yellow/green. But apparently the Tempest was yellow/violet grey.
