Boatman is building the same Hornet kit I have in my stash and adding the Doolittle Raiders on deck. Also his plan to rig lighting to the carrier.

Since I’m no longer a member there due to being banned over stupid stuff (twice ), his carrier will be all wrong with lighting. Reading Target Tokyo, the Hornet was under strict blackout conditions enroute to the Japan mainland.

If anyone is a member there, somebody let him know.

Perhaps somebody could send him a link to watching 30 Seconds Over Tokyo…

Turning on the lights at sea in contested or enemy waters is extremely rare.

I know the guy (Chris) from a few other forums. Lighting stuff is his 'thing' and I do know he's not too bothered about all over accuracy - so I wouldn't sweat it too much.
