Revell 1/80-ish scale B-57B Intruder

Post by BlackSheep214 »

A fun, nostalgic build for me. I built this kit as a kid in the 70s. Still remember the low parts count too. Lacking details but that's expected for a kit of the mid 70s.

I will be hanging this one on the ceiling near my bench.

There is an Italeri B-57B Canberra with Hell's Angels nose art I've been looking to get someday.

Nice work Tom. The original kit is a bit older than 70’s vintage though according to Scalemates.

Nice work Tom. Nothing like a vintage kit build to get the modeling juices flowing again! :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout:

Yup. So satisfying too. The Italeri kit also has dive brakes on fuselage I wanted to display opened. The vintage kit doesn't show them on fuselage. Of course, like I mentioned... lack of details. :bag: :giggles:

Tom, that is magnificent! I have a more recent Airfix version of that and this has me very motivated to start mine! Way to go!
