Hello all! These were finished at the beginning of the month, but I've had no chance to post them until now. Here are the latest ships to be launched from our Shipyards:
Airfix 1/600 scale British heavy cruiser HMS Tiger:
Trumpeter 1/700 scale French Battleship Jean Bart:
And that's all for now. Hopefully more will be finished soon. Thank you for looking in and comments are welcome

Thank you Tom!
Thank you Carlos! Yeah, I have the Richelieu built as well; unfortunately she's behind a bunch of boxes and such so getting the two together for a family photo is gonna be tough.

Do the words French and Battle really go in the same sentence...?
Two great looking builds Mark!

Quite often no. But…. Jean Bart did fight a duel against USS Massachusetts at Casablanca during the Torch landings.

That's a good point Carlos. I couldn't help feeling for that French battleship; she was such a hard luck ship that I felt deserved better.

Bravo, Mark! I have to ask because I’ve never built a battleship… Are you painting the hull color and masking the black barrier line as well or is it a combination of a decal and hull red paint?? Both look very sharp to me, Mark.
