‘57 Chevy Funny Car

While I have yet got the paint for the B-2 Stealth Bomber, I jumped on this one….
Started assembling the engine, frame, and sorted out parts for paint. Engine is partially painted. No pics yet.

We call the image you posted “clown cars”….
Even those ricers craze in the states that sound like weedwhackers on crack are clown cars.

Stripped the chrome off the side plates and exhaust tubes. Too shiny and toy-like. Gonna use Molotow Chrome pen later tonight.

This is awesome! I'm gonna follow this since I knew Tom well. He was a great guy whose carer I followed closely while I was a kid.

Hey Tom have you tried spraying Tamiya smoke on chrome - knocks down the toy like appearance.

Not much to show. Semi gloss black painted on framework and other parts. Picked up Rustoleum Apple Red while grocery shopping at Walmart. Already painted the body that color.
