Got a lil sidetracked resuming the Armored 1/4 ton 4x4 Truck when I was seduced by this kit.



It's been years since I've done a helio kit, let alone over 40 years since I did the vintage Revell Huey Gunship kit. (It was molded in green back then )

I fiddled around doing a little bit work on the cockpit and seats.

Man I love a good helo build. Looking forward to this Tom.

Very cool subject Tom - I've never built a Huey, that's yet another type I need to get around too.

This has figures included (2 pilots, 1 gunner) and want to put them in. I hate painting figures and do a crappy job doing them. Anyone up to painting them for me?

The only real hard part of figure painting is the faces. If you were nearby I’d gladly paint them for you. Vietnam era US figures are just a palette of olive greens and olive drabs, aside from some black and flesh areas.
