Phew... Thanks to an exorbitant quality cast I could concventrate on the painting itself from the very beginning here - and it was fun!

You're a very talented man, Tigrazor. Your sense for colours and shadings is remarkable. :bow:

On this one I really like the pastel tones. They all perfectly match. The way you bring out the metallic tones is also great. I love that tarnished brass. Citadel?
When the sun of culture hangs low even dwarfs throw shadows.

The basic metallic tones are - as always for my paintjobs- enamel colors. In this case, I used a bunch of Humbrol colors like Copper, Bronze, Gold and (chrome) Silver. First comes the darker shades like bronze, and its washed with Citadel washings (Agrax Earthshade). Finally, I drybrushed some 50/50 mixture of Gold and Chrome - thats it. :)

very good looking bust, you nailed the face and soooooo quick, that's what I really dont get

It was indeed pretty quick, thanks to very good and bright colors, fast drying, including the washes. No oil was harmed (that would take weeks then I guess).
