Here is my second entry for the GB!
Hasegawa 1/48, nabbed second-hand at a club meeting
As always, things started off with the pit. It was decent OOB, but I decided to add a bit of wiring and some seatbelts from tape
all painted!
worst thing about this kit? the previous owner had sanded the detail off the IP!!!!!
forcing me to use a decal? ....now it doesnt quite match the rest of the pit
moving on, I quickly assembled the major components. Nice fit, and only light buffing is needed after the glue dries

Interesting markings on the boxtop Owl, looking good.

Can you fly this plane and land it? Surely you can't be serious? I am serious, and don't call me Shirley

Nice start Owl! I think you coulda done a better IP yourself, but that is part of the hazards of secondhand kits. Great prices, but occasional surprises needing you to "improvise, adapt, & overcome..."

I might just have to nab an eduard kit or something, just so I can stock up my 1/48 spare parts drawer! lolStikpusher wrote:Nice start Owl!
