Thanks! Yeah the so called "resource limit" thing is a pain in the butt.

So far so good on the decals. The big tail ones needed a lot of Mirco Sol to set down. About 60% through the first jet.

Looks great.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Re: The Bench Of Doom
Thanks guys! Hope to get the first one finished and start on the second. I'm using three different decal sheets for these jets.

Nice and colorful! Although I gotta confess I prefer the early Hornet markings for that squadron when the atomic skull was on the outboard surfaces of the vertical stabilizers.

Thanks! I've always liked these markings and I have a framed pic when they were still flying the Legacy Hornet.Stikpusher wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2024 8:55 am Nice and colorful! Re: The Bench Of Doom
Well Hornet #1 is pretty much done other than the stencils, but those will wait till the end. If it gets too close to the show the stencils may not make it on there. The only exception will be the weapons.
