I finally completed my Japanese airfield diorama. Kits used are Fujimi Hayabusa, heller Japanese infantry, Airfix jungle outpost and Hasegawa starter truck.

Re: Japanese airfield diorama
Very nice executed and atmospheric diorama, borg.
I'd like to point out the pile work and the sumpters, they make the difference.

Re: Japanese airfield diorama
Thanks, this is my second real diorama and I am still learning about "visual balance" and telling a story with the diorama.
I went trough several configurations of the three large elements (aircraft, truck and hutch) before settling for this one.
Another difficult thing was placing the figures in a logical position. Not to far away from each other and to think about possible interaction (or the lack thereof like the smoking guy behind the boxes.
Lastly (and this is something that might still need some more stuff) are the little things. Like some boxes under the hutch in storage or damaged grass/wear and tear where people are most likely to walk or grass will grow badly (in the shade).

I really like that Borg - that's a great bit of luck. I can see you put some thought into the balance as you said - it shows. All the elements look great, but I especially like the horses for some reason. And the Dude slacking off and having a quiet smoke.
Great stuff!
Great stuff!

Excellent work Borg! I mean really top notch! If I were to add one nit pick I would suggest to have the bombs away from the fuel drums. But seriously your composition really hit the mark I think.

Thanks. And as for the bombs and fuel: it is a bit joke with the smoking guy next to those.
