This is the area next to the kitchen which was and still is used for general storage (dog food, beer etc)
Put up a new shelf under the window so I could get legs under the counter.
Not packed with goodies like some other modellers areas but I suppose will get there.
Fortunately it also includes a cabinet for keeping glue etc cool in warm times.
The first pic is the compressor I got for airbrushing. 24l tank and fills quickly so not a lot of noise.

Re: Newbie area
Let's see.....dogfood, CHECK. Beer, double Check, flyswatter, check. Let's go build something. Nice space, Phil. Looks like that compressor should do the job quite nicely.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Looks like a nice and cool space to do some modelling!

Love the tube-rack for the brushes!
Is it selfmade ? Very practical !
Love also the slightly "massive" paintmixer ... or perhaps it's for a milk-shake ?? :-)
But very clean and nice workspace you have there indeed,

Re: Newbie area
Thanks all.
During the day I spend most of my time in my workshop doing turning and carpentry so things like that are easy to slap together.
Did the same sort of thing for the paint bottles.

The tube rack is pieces of plastic electrical conduit stuck into holes in a bit of wood.KSaarni wrote:Love the tube-rack for the brushes!

Looks like a great workspace. I wish I had such a permanent set up.
