T-80HT - the Hover Tank | Revell/kitbash | 1/72

Post by tigrazor »

Pt. I - "From the ashes..."

What if the British Empire would still exist? How would their technology look like nowadays? What if Jules Vernes visions would be immortal (for me, they still are, btw.)?

:writing:

And what if the diorama I did some months ago wouldnt have been incomplete (like a few, to be honest)? Too much work in that vignette -a former church ruin - to throw it away. So, a recycling had to be done. Away with the church walls, but the ground stays the same. At least something.

:happens:

And what for? Okay, I guess you know I like steampunk stuff, kitbashing and all that stuff. Nothings better than a big spare parts box. Here comes a hovering T-80 from Revell. Cheap, good base, pretty much details and hey - almost no rules! :D Found some perfect figures as well, they are from a brand called "Orion".

Oh, and did I mention its braille scale?!

Nuff said. :FM:

Steam Punk meets the Punk Rock era? :hmm: This should be interesting.

We can call it "SteamPunkRockabillyTalent" or something. Okay, Maybe not "Talent", because there are far better talented modellers out there. :D

Techno Steam Punk? :hmm: Don't sell yourself short. You have some serious talent yourself. Especially in your chosen genres.

Pt. II - "Figure it out"

Wasnt too happy with the dio, so I reworked it again a bit. Tank got some more details too (like wooden barrels for example).

I love the barrels/casks!!! But to look properly Welles'ish/Verne'ian I think it needs more rivets!
