Project KKK (Kellerkinds "Krabbe"), 1/32

Post by tigrazor »

Hi there.

Just ordered Kellerkinds "Krabbe" combat suit in 1/32 and made a base for it. It consists of several sheets of bark and a piece of wood thats cut aslant. It is covered with white glue, chinchilla sand and haispray to give it a rough structure.

The base so far:

And thats the little fella thats supposed to stand on it:

And here it is. Primed in black, with brown pigments and green airbrushed color and lasercut fern (ModelScene). The sign comes from AetzTech.

I needed a sidekick for the suit: An ICM figure comes with the base. Its a bit older - but can really keep up with modern casts.

Well done. Nice paint on the figure. Hat's off.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Thanks Lyle. Tried a new color here - Games Workshops "Dwarf Flesh". This is a pretty reddish skin tone, but if you mix the highlights with a tiny dot of white, the result is pretty good.

Put another note in the alchemists sketchbook. ;)

The main tones are black and green here for the dio. Im thinking about a kind of pea pattern or Bundeswehr camouflage pattern.

Something like this:

or that:

I tried something similar before on a Melusine (dark grey/grey/white):

First of all: the base rocks! :!:

Did you get the flesh colour at MSC? Looks nice. What I somehow miss is how tall is this Krabbe?
