1:72 MiG 19S "Farmer-C"

Post by Cherrylock »

this is build for a fiend, like most of the 1:72 models....the kit is from KP (the new release, not the very old ), nice detail, good Decals, the fit is ok but you have to grind and loose details

the CSSR has painted Alu fighter not NMF, so only postshading on the lines but not painted every pannel differend

10 air army; (Command flight); Hradec Kralove AB; 1964; Československé vojenské letectvo (Czechoslovak Air Force)

That’s a nice little Mig Peter. Very interesting to learn that the Czechs were painting the aluminum aircraft in that time. Do you know of other Warsaw Pact Air Forces doing the same? The USAF started doing that around the same time as corrosion control and to help better seal electronics compartments from moisture.
