Hi All,
I don't know whether it's the fact that I'm stuck in another national lockdown, trying to work from home with both my kids climbing up the walls (with the schools closed) and my wife struggling to cope with it - but I really can't get that enthusiastic about a large 1/48 kit right now. So whilst I'm going to dip into the Lightning now and then and work on the detail painting, I thought I'd build something a bit simpler.
Tamiya's newish F-16CJ with added gear!
I'm on a bit of an F-16 kick at the moment, and when it arrives it'll be interesting to see how this compares to the old 80's Airfix kit I'm building.
Cheers!

You guys sound like California...
As far as the F-16s go, well it will be something of a comparison of state of the art over a four decades difference. Both will look like F-16s in the end I’m sure. But the moldings will be literally ages apart.

My goodness! For their difference in age, be respectful of the Airfix.... I would think the Tamiya would be years ahead (pun intended) in quality. But, as Carlos said, they should both look like F-16 aeroplanes.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Another great choice!
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

Tamiya Vipers are hands down the best F-16 kits out there.

Wonder if firing the ejection seat would flip it over?
