I've heard Tamiya decals were on the thick side and difficult to lay down even with decal solutions. Perhaps maybe something more stronger solution will do the trick?

Tamiya, Academy and Hasegawa...IMHO, have the worst kit included decals. I have had a couple Academy kits that had decent decals...they were not Academy's decals though!

Nearing the finish line: I did the wash this afternoon. Under the wing is a “before” picture, under the fuselage is a “after” picture.

Now a flat coat, a few details and final assembly...

Mr. Mark Softer or one of DACO's decal solutions will usually save the day. Heat is also an option, I have used the heat gun I use for shrinking RC model coverings, and I would imagine the little heat guns they make for electronics would work. Mind the plastic, though! The heat method is especially good if you are foolish enough to try to make most Roden decals work.

Looking very sharp now Remco! I can’t wait to see this one finished.
