1/48 Tamiya Do335A "Pfeil"

Clint, that will be so cool! Doesn’t even need to be shiny, either!

Great photo Carlos! Makes since that the tail is all ready painted since they was probably made elsewhere and installed at the main factory. I was wanting to depict the leading edge in bare wood to add some more color to the build. But the tail already painted could be enough color. The men standing next to it again shows the massive size of this aircraft. Also looks like around the exhaust is also painted.

That's a very interesting photo - obviously US servicemen in the foreground but are those bullet holes in the lower tail or do you think inspection panels?

I’d say inspection or attachment points. At least one on the lower rudder lines up with a circle on the upper rudder. And the remainder on the lower fin look to follow panel lines or internal framework.

Hans, the mechanic was ostracized for weeks after his latest prank of putting fake bullet holes on the commander's aircraft. He became known as Hans "The Latrine Digger"

I got the kit assembled, painted and some light weathering done. I will weather it more with the base.
I want to make a factory scene so I will need to start doing some more research on that.
The lever for the boarding ladder.
The next video, I think this one turned out very well
Thanks for looking in!
