Hey Duke, you're not alone!
I've had this kit lurking in my stash for like forever. Got it out the other day and found out unlike what I was expecting, it is a pretty nice kit. 86 parts in a 2 3/8 inch long truck. I was expecting something more like the early Hasegawa 6 X 6, which compared to the newer Academy kits of the same was a pretty big disappointment.
I made up decals for a support truck for the 100th Bomb Group, 350th Squadron. In researching the markings I found the explanation for the white on the bumpers on a lot of these vehicles. Seems it was the cure for too many GI's being hit in blackout conditions by trucks running with no lights. Also put the warning for the Brits on the tailgate, "Left Hand Drive".

That looks good John.

Bravo! But, how do we know all 539 parts are there? Huh?

Thanks, guys. I have a 1/48 fuel trailer on the bench right now while glue and paint is drying on other stuff. Resin kit of a single axle trailer I've seen in photos being towed by the GMC fuel truck among others.
