Every then and now I feel like roaming off the beaten tracks.
I took sort of pride in fnishing this one being my first "real" tank.
Built from DML's Smart Kit Panther G. AM refinements: Friul metal tracks and Karaya towing cables.
Cheers
Erik

This is your first tank kit??? Looks way better than my 100st in future...
The Panther is a great looking vehicle and your build is immaculate. Love Friul tracks!

Looking for words, Kurfürst!
Where do you buy Friul tracks and to what price? I guess these have been rather expensive these days...
Waiting for an offer on 1/16 scale metal tracks myself

Thanks, Boris.
@Thomas
I bought a few sets a couple of years ago. A fellow modeler (and friend of mine) was running an online hobby shop, hence I could shop Friuls at a rather favourable price - kind of mate's rate.
I can't remeber the actual price I paid but it was way below twenty Euros per set.
And no, granting mate's rates too frequently wasn't the reason he went out of business.

Wow!! That's a good-looking Panther! Glad you didn't chip the paint very much. After all, these tanks had the life expectancy of a few weeks... If you did use modulation techniques, I must compliment you, as on most models that tends to look like a HDR-photo. On your model, everything comes together! I hope you'll run a WIP sometime soon so you can give us insight in your techniques!
@Thomas: the latest track sets I bought were €28,- per set.
Cheers,
Erik

Nice Panther there Kufuerst! I am looking forward to seeing your other armor builds completed.
