So this started as a quick build for a GB on FSM using this kit and refenrces, along with the basic turret replacement part saved my build of the Italeri M13/40. The main kit build up extremely quickly, basicly taking me a few hours in one evening.

I even got to the point of applying the basic camo color
then I went and checked my references again and saw that there were some details needing to be added...

So I scratched up the details that I needed using various odds & ends from my spares bin: 1m optical rangefinder, goniometer, and jerry can rack
then test fitted them in place
then I scratched up some other details needed- a second radio antenna base "pot" and a "y" support for the stowed antenna
and a closer check of my reference showed that the roof hatch was a four part affair... so bewtween scribing and various strip styrene in my drawer I was able to more closely replicate the real deal.
and I added more detail to the rangefinder using those nubs that you cut off of kit parts

Then a primer coat over the scratch work...
and that is where this build stands now... except for a few crew figures that I have built so far...

Thank you Boris. I think it will look goon on my shelf next to my DAK Befehlspanzer I.

So will the final version be blown up, abandoned, or flying a white flag?
I tried inserting a "stirring the pot" emoticon here but it didn't work out.
