Kinda taking a break, probably until after Vegas. And after my PE arrives
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting the head off a Hydra, two more take it’s place.

Thanks Mark - I already miss it!

That's a full looking bench!

The usual suspects are back on the bench (EA-6B, F/A-18E twins) and others at the paint stage (Demon, Skyray, Viper, Phantom). Trying to remember where I'm at with them. :headbang:

John, my apologies for not answering sooner. I never got WiFi in Vegas during the convention. Besides, I was so busy, I doubt I would have had time to log in anyway!

The Vampire kit is the ancient Frog kit.

Haven't resumed building yet since I'[m still trying to sort things out and find places to put them. Then I have to find a space to hang my Antonov now that it is done. Hopefully soon though.

Here a couple of Yak 3's, from an Eduard Dual Combo set. I've been building it with my almost 6 yrs grandson Alex. He doesn't mind if I do the PE parts, and I'm glad of that as I don't want him running screaming from the workshop. It is a nice little kit, but as usual with Eduard it is a bit fiddly. What is happening in the picture is both wings have been fit into the fuselage while the cockpit side consoles are still movable so I could fit them at the exact width to the fuselage. The instrument panels are all PE and have been filed on the sides to narrow them up a bit for an easier fit. That will require another fitting while the glue I use on the panels is not fully cured. I'm using a very slow setting Gel CA for that.

Nice. Neither my kids or grand kids showed ,any interest.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Those are some nice builds you've got going on John. Glad your grandson is helping you out. My son Joseph and I built a few models early on together and the older he got the more he strayed from it. Hopefully one of these days he'll pick it up.
