That is so cool. I've read somewhere that every GB ever built, crashed. I don't know if that's 100% correct, but can you imagine taking one into combat?!?

it would have been fast, very good in turns, and yeah, probably crashed more than would have been shot down. But....

Looks like a fun “what if?” project. Although by 1941, which the markings are for, I wonder how well it would have stacked up against the P-35, P-36, P-39, and P-40?
The P-35 was a racer design that actually saw service as a fighter, so why not this P-45B?
