I'll be building one of these...
With this rather nice kit.
I've been looking forward to this GB.
Cheers!

Thanks Gents, it's a really nice kit - if you remember I started building one a few years back (this is third year in a row I've built an F-16 in March ) which was going great until my daughter knocked it off the bench...
I'm hoping to get this one further than this (I bought this kit as a replacement after I realised the SAC set wasn't going to work).
I love me an F-16 though - these are the previous two years builds.
in 2021 it was the Airfix F-16A.
And last year it was the Matchbox F-16A (With pylons and other bits from the previous Tamiya build)
Unfortunately I don't have either of these builds anymore, as they're in storage at my mother in laws house and thanks to a family rift (She's extremely toxic and hates me) I probably won't get them back anytime soon - assuming she hasn't binned them. Anyway - Back to this build...
Here are my previous sprue shots.
It really is a super kit. By the parts breakdown it looks like Tamiya left the door open to do some further Viper variants - I wish they would, as it's easily the best F-16 kit I've built, although I've not build a Hasegawa kit yet.
Anyway!

Don't forget about the Revell Germany kit. I have 8 in the stash and I've heard they're very good kits
Re: YGTBSM, it's Stuart's Wild Weasel
I had to lookup the YGTBSM acronym. Pretty funny story. Those guys do have a kinda crazy job.
Thanks,

It is indeed a good story!
They do indeed, but they've saved a lot lives by doing it! I think I may to build an F-4G this year. or at least an F-105G or Super Sabre

Those guys are beyond insane. If you haven't seen this video, you'll see how crazy this mission is.

Re: YGTBSM, it's Stuart's Wild Weasel
I recently developed a fondness for the F16 while building one for my Secret Santa GB over at FSM. As I remarked, it looks like the go cart of the fighter jet world to me, and I love it!
