Now Mike, there is no reason for a Bandai Star Wars kit to be on the shelf of doom! Except for it accidentally being put up there. Those kits just give no reason to sideline them. They flow so well in assembly.

Yeah I honestly have no idea why it was there. It just needed the wing guns and canopies attached.

That's cool Mike - is that the 1/72 kit?Medicman71 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 20, 2023 8:54 am So I kinda forgot about this one. It was on the shelf of doom. I got it out, finished it up and now it's ready for painting.

This is a project my wife and I just started. Any of you Dexter fans may know where this is going
The Trumpeter container is a really nice kit. Waiting on some more figures

Got these US Navy power units at Nats to go with my other Navy tractors. They're from Skunkworks, aka Kinetic and it shows. I've barely started and the fit is horrible. I messed one up (there's two kits in the box) to the point that it had to be tossed out.

The way you put it together, the joins aren't great. You have to hold them in place, glue them, and make sure they're in line correctly. All at the same time.

Thanks for the heads up. I have some other Kinetic flight deck stuff in my stash. Looks like a job for Evergreen square strips to help with alignment and increased surface contact areas.
