Borg builds a Polikarpov, what else is new? This is actually going to be my second I-5. I already build the early version.
The late version has a more conventional cowling then the early one. But unfortunately mine was short shot. So I used plastic strip and putty to fill that. Rest was pretty basic, although a bit over engineered.

Remco, you always come up with unique subjects! Looking forward to what you do here with this one.

Can only agree with Carlos!
Had to Google this Po I-5 to get a picture of it.
Very curious to see what camo it will get

Well done!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
Re: ICM Polikarpov I-5 late
That's a very interesting choice - great start, you did well sorting out that cowling!

Brilliant work Remco! Man, you have some mad skills fixing that cowl! I love watching your build threads since you always have such unique and interesting subjects. Which leads to the question: how did I beat you to the Be-4?!!
