Hey Gang!
Happy New Year and Welcome Back to SPAM. Let’s hope the forum bandwidth works!
I started another 18” Enterprise. This was a good will score minus the base but otherwise in good condition.
Every time I go away for a bit, I find back my way back with one of these barn storming 26 parts Tupperware plastic AMT ERTL Chestnuts. You know why? I couldn’t afford one when I was a kid. That’s why. I ended up with the Shuttlecraft. A great kit, but I wanted an Enterprise. As Scotty says, “I’d like to get my hands on her nacelles.”

Nice, Bruce!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Good to see you back at it Bruce.

Added brass strip/positioning details
The top brass strip is slightly off although I measured and marked the surface. I was rushing a bit.

It took me a moment to see the added brass strips.

Thanks so much, Tom. I sincerely appreciate your support. Carlos, my photograph is soft focus which makes identifying details harder than it should be. I have since corrected the spacing and I am now ready to duplicate the details on the opposite side - I’m not sure if this is port or starboard?

Sounds like a good plan Bruce. For shipboard sides and terms, port is left, and starboard is right, when aboard and looking at the bow, or forward. Those sailors have funny words for most everything us landlubbers know as something else.
