I build this little solar system. It comes from one of those educational sets my son got as a present. He wasn’t interested so I build it.
The black on the stand is a spraycan. I did some puttying on all of the planets, you don’t want a seam line over a planet…
And I added a semi transparent ring to Saturn instead of the cardboard one that came with the kit.
All brush painted with an ink wash for contrast.

That is pretty neat.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

We all made one of these in 3rd Grade elementary school using half balls of styrofoam. :tease: :wink:
