Tonight's progress.... she's buttoned up and ready for paint once I mask the canopy and install to fuselage.

My Model Master RAF Sky Type S was dried up. Luckily, I had Mission Models Sky. At first, I tried spraying thru the airbrush and it wouldn't spray. I thinned it with Mission Models own thinner. Strange....

I emptied the cup and poured it in medicine cup. Huh.... I swirled as added more thinner. I see grainy bits on the bottom. Wow. Mission Model thinner musted have been so old it had a reaction to the paint.

Cleaned out the cup tried again and thinned with water and it worked fine. Went back again and put a second coat of Sky.

Propeller tips I used RAF Trainer Yellow.

Looking good. I've heard so many horror stories about mission Models paint I never bothered to try it.

That's some really nice cockpit detail. Looking good so far!

Yeah. They are very delicate and scratch easily. This is the first time I had their thinner react to their paint. I've never seen it react like that before. I do like their Worn Tires Black. They do hand brush nice but their delicate properties suck after handling.

I've got a small handful of colors. I won't be buying more Mission Model paints anytime soon.

Thank you for the kind words. Before turning g in for the night, I sprayed a coat of gloss clear in prep for decal session tonight.
