Today I did some more work on this project… First up I did some touch ups on the OD that had become stained from the putty tarps, then I painted the epoxy tarps that I added to the windshield and fender

Next I added a couple of jerry can holders from my spares bins onto the sponsons… I didn’t like the jerry cans with molded on holders that came with the kit

I used some aircraft instrument decals for the dashboard instruments

And lastly I primed up some Value Gear stowage that I’m planning to use in the cargo bed, and gave it a test fit

Bravo, Carlos! So there's some Milliput sculpts on the front for the mattress and roll up in addition to the Value Gear Brand products?

Thanks Bruce! Yes, that’s Milliput that I used on the fender and windshield. First time trying out something that I had seen demonstrated.

Stuart and Bruce, thank you. This one is going to the side burner now while I wrap up my SBD project.

I went back to working on this one over this past weekend. I had picked up a pedestal machine gun mount for the cargo bed last week, and modified the stowage to allow everything to fit. I also painted up the main block of the Value Gear stowage and other stowage in their base colors.

I have also started work on a .30 cal. Browning M1919 from my spares collection for the pedestal mount.

More to come soon.
