Re: Tiger Tiger burning Bright... (Tamiya 1/35 Tiger I (Late)
I’ve seen that Wallace & Gromit motorcycle kit modified into a parody build of Steve McQueen’s Great Escape motorcycle scene. It was very well done. But the builder never mentioned any problems with the build itself, and he is now deceased, so I can’t ask him.
"Surely I have made my meaning plain? I intend to avenge myself upon you, Admiral. I have deprived your ship of power, and when I swing 'round, I intend to deprive you of your life."

I’m not sure quite how to link anyone interested to the kit review but the reviewer disliked the design and fittings and also linked I believe within his review to another source who extensively modified the aeroplane to reflect the actual prop it’s based on… that’s why I’m curious how Stuart fares.

I'll post up some pictures as I said - it's not a bad kit, just odd. I guess it might depend on your expectations. For anyone used to building old or short-run kits I don't think you'd have a lot of issues - you just need to be prepared to use a bit of filler and do a fair bit of prep work.

And if you need a spare engine, here's one already on the lift. Needed something to hold the hoist cables tight.

Is the tyger still burning or is it simmering at the moment?

On the back-burner at the moment Bruce, spending too much time working and getting ready for xmas - and building the W&G bike has taken up most of my bench time anyway, trying to get it finished.
I'll get back to it in the New Year.
