Folks - I lost the canopy of the DC-6 and am now doing the 1/72 Hasegawa X-29

Driving by tomorrow. I'll take a look. I thought it was a DC-4 / C-54 but seeing it has the square windows I think you are correct sir!

Actually after a bit of poking around it is a significant DC-7
N777EA is the registration for a historic Douglas DC-7C aircraft, the last one ever built (c/n 45549/1041), owned by Missionary Wings Inc. (part of Pyramid Oil) and stored at the Phoenix Goodyear Airport (KGYR) in Arizona, a long-term project known as the "Seven Seas" for its luxurious original KLM fit-out, representing a significant piece of aviation history

Ive always wanted to build an airliner kit for years. Never done one.
The only airliner per say I've done was the Sacred Cow - FDR's aircraft with the elevator for him board while in a wheelchair during WW2.

You should try one Tom. If you can build subs and shiny cars you can do an airliner. Start with something small - my first was this 1/200 Hasegawa 737.
