Paint. I sprayed a base coat using Mr. Color C58 Orange Yellow since it was a spot on match to the decal. Then I masked off the stripe before painting it flat red.

Well it looks good for sure. Most of those 357th P-51s had pretty sloppy looking spinners--another reason I do not like reference photos

Decal session has begun. Fuselage and propeller blades decals are done. Fuselage stencils and wings decals will resume tonight.
