Look at the Revell Rafale kits for better painting instructions/color call outs.

Hobby Boss has always been weak on their paint instructions… along with their alter ego Trumpeter.

That I did last night. Repainted wheel wells, doors, intake and light Grey. Magic air-to-air missiles I'm leaving as white. Need to find decal placements and tip color call outs. Instruction guide certainly lack which and where the decals go for each weaponry, tanks, and pylons.

Had a slight fit issues with main canopy. For some reason the seat sat too high and interferes with the canopy. Not sure if I glued the seat properly in cockpit or not. Either way, I managed to pull it out and see what the issue was. It looked to me the seat didnt sit right in the hole slots as I thought it did.

Tried resetting it but to no avail. I ended up sanding the bottom of the seat to remove the nubs that suppose to fit in the holes on the cockpit floor. Once I did that, I tested the fit again with the canopy and the issue is resolved. Here's where I'm at now.

Next are the intakes...

Here is a good walk around of a Rafale C for reference.

Late last night, I couldn't sleep so I threw on the wings and the intakes. The intakes were an easy fit with zero issues. I know Mike mentioned he had fit issues with intakes on the Revell Rafale kit.

Looking good, Tom!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
