Not much progress as of late. Just prepping my build for paint. Hopefully, some paint will go on tonight. Been.battling sore throat and runny nose. I suspect one of 2 things the cause:

Pollen. Ive been busy doing outdoors chores on Sunday. Mow the lawn, power washed the patio, cleaned the grill.

Chemical inhaled by accident from fumes of foam grill cleaner (damn wind). Yes, I wore a mask.

I slept downstairs last night. Felt a bit better this morning. Throat a tiny bit irritated but tolerable. Still blowing my nose due to pollen.

Sorry to hear that Tom - I hope you feel better soon.

It's that time of year isn't it - not hot enough to kill all the winter bugs, but warm enough for all the pollen and crap to get into the atmosphere.

Thank you, Stuart. Funny thing… pollen never use to bother me. Expecting rain the next few days with temps dipping back to the high 40s. Now I gotta put pants on instead of shorts.

Rain… whether it’s a good thing or not may help reduce the pollen in the air or produce more once the rain ends next week.

Well, I know I snapped the nose pitot tube and tried gluing together. Let’s see how it turns out if the glue holds. If it doesn't, I’ve been looking for replacement ones - preferably metal type.

Light Ghost Grey on undersides is on! If I can’t sleep later tonight, I’ll throw the Neutral Grey on topside front portion and wing rails.

Tail rudder is done as well.

Well, Hot damn! I got a bit curious since I knew I had bought F-16 static discharger set a long time ago. Lo and behold, rubberbanded behind it was MasterModel pitot tube with angle of attack probes. :lashed: :lashed: :lashed: :lashed: :lashed:

Oh yeah…. couldn’t sleep so I threw a coat of Neutral Grey on front portion topside. Tomorrow, Gunship Grey goes on. :lashed:

Me neither, but I've noticed in the last few years when the count gets high it starts to get to me too. Like you said, bring on the rain!

Finding that pitot set was good luck after breaking the kit one - meant to be obviously.

Hope you feel better soon. Allergies and all that crap are bad this year. It seems like we say that every year now.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
