13th Panzer at Lake Balatan-1945

Post by Tojo72 »

The 13th Panzer Division, alongside other elite armored units, participated in the final major German offensive of World War II, “Operation Spring Awakening”,near Lake Balaton in Hungary during March 1945
This is Dragon’s Jagdpanzer IV along with some generic figures. The base is a simple pre made base all I did is add a gray filter to tone down the white and a brown wash to dirty it up.figures are painted in Vallejo.I used the hairspray method on the SPG over Tamiya paint. It was a fun project, thanks for looking.

Excellent work Tony! Your figures and the base really kick this one up a couple of notches. :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout:

That is a very realistic piece of work. It looks cold.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

That's a very nicely executed vignette, Tojo! It lets you feel the harsh environment of the Russian Tundra.
Cheers,
