I agree!Stuart wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2026 7:14 am That's good to know Gary, I do like these washes - very user friendly.
I know what you mean by the fun factor, it is a lot of fun to mess these armour builds up. It's funny really, I'm not a fan of weathered aircraft models but armour doesn't tend to look right to my eye if it's left clean.

Washes look pretty dang good so far Stuart. I've recently discovered oils for some of the washing effects and am working on rust and streak effects now too. Your take on this Tiger is looking great and I'll be watching for more.
P.S. This whole armor gig is addicting. Now I want to build more armor.

Making some progress on this - just to get it off the bench. I've fitted all the wheels and have finally assembled both RFM tracks - only 490ish parts each LOL!

I've also given a few washes and matt coated it. It needs a bit more weathering, especially around the wheels but I'll do that once I have the tracks on.

Nice to see that this one is still in progress and nearing the finish line.

2023? It is a babu! Looks good, though.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Bravo, Stuart! Your work looks awesome and you really have been chipping away at this particular project!
I’ve been wondering how you display finished models. Fo you have a cabinet or case for them?
