First is the thrift store model: a Williams Bros. 1/72 scale kit of the C-46 that was packed in an AC-47 model box. It was bought for me for three bucks at the thrift store by a fellow St. Crispin's Irregular:
Next is the model that kept falling down losing parts, getting repaired; lather, rinse, repeat: the Lindbergh box scale Skipjack Oyster Boat. It is currently missing it's second boat but I'm calling it done anyway:
This next model is a floating conglomeration of issues and mistakes that somehow looks okay from three feet away. This fought me for months, and finally one vital boom went missing for three years while this sat waiting for it to be found. Finally, it was found and I could move forward on this three and a half years later. I give you the 1/96 scale Pyro kit of the SS Robert E Lee paddle steamer:
Finally, another ancient kit that sat for three years waiting for one lousy piece to be found. It was the butt plate for the handle that was finally found while sorting out spare parts. I give you the 1/1 scale Lifelike kit of two French dueling pistols from the 1800's:
