That is quite the deal! And the markings variety for those… :hmm:

Got some stuff delivered from Sprue Bros last Thursday. Also we made a trip to Dallas for a pen show that the wife wanted to go to. Went to a Hobby Town USA and a Japanese book store and got stuff at each.

Check out Hobby Lobby, Mike. They're carrying a lot of Gundam kits.

At a sister in law's Housewarming gathering and told the missus I'd like to stop at Performance Hobbies. I did and it certainly changed the layout of the store. Now they carry RC cars and aircrafts along with model kits, paint and supplies. Went to the back of store where the model kits are. Very good selections, prices are fair or close to what most online store charges.

Paint brand carried: Tamiya acryls and mini lacquer bottles, Vallejo, AK Interactive Real Color (oh yea, baby!), Revell, Testors square bottles, and believe it or not.... Testors Model Master enamels!!!! Not all but quite a few what he had leftover. Talked to the owner and told him his store is rare to still carry Model Master colors. I told him I miss Model Master and was my go-to paints.

He told me make me an offer. I was like oh boy.... the missus ain't gonna be happy if I bought all of his model master stock. :giggles: :giggles: :giggles: Not going to say how.uch pwr bottle but I wouldn't mind d grabbing 3 or 4 of each color he has leftover, even if there's only 1 left. ROFLMAO !

Anyhow, what I did buy: AK Interactive Real Color Light Ghost Grey and Medium Grey, Model Master Africka Dunkengelb '42, Navy Blue 5-P and Micro Sol (blue bottle). Was hoping they carried Deluxe Perfect Plastic Putty... no dice.

They did have weathering products. Aftermarket parts, diorama products, and yes, AK Interactive Paint Markers too!

Sounds like a good day and a very successful LHS visit! I’d say go for it on buying up the remaining Model Master stock. That’s a once in a lifetime opportunity at this point. It is a sign from the universe

I also picked up Model Master Burnt Umber too.

It is very tempting, Carlos. I am thinking it over. I need to know what colors he has left… at least give me an inventory of what’s left. I know I can place an order and he will ship. Or I can go the cheaper route and pick them up myself instead. I can try and see if he can give me sort of a deal, even if I reduce his Model Master by 50% - 75% left in his stock. If I were to take every single bottle at $2 each, rack included, I’m guessing $500. Hard to say.
